That way it's a real treat for them and gives them something to do while I spend hours searching for books. But I'll have to check out Spelling city -- great recommendation! As with ...I think the computer is a great resource. As with all things, it should be monitored and in moderation, but still. When you think about it, our children will grow up with all sorts of technology, it would be a shame to shelter them from it. We let Mari play twice a week for 15 minutes on the Fisher Price site. It's free. They teach counting (we count to 5) and the alphabet (she types a letter on the keypad and the letter appears and shows an animal). There was another site that taught the alphabet in sign language while showing and saying the letter. I thought that was neat. <br /><br />Lastly, we love it when my folks visit b/c they have downloaded a alphabet flash card app on their iPhone which teaches her the alphabet in English, Spanish, and French.
