We're Home!

Monday, August 2, 2010

We're so glad to be home.  These pictures were taken by my brother on our layover in DC, where my folks, brother and sister in law and awesome friend Amanda met us.  Two flights later, we landed in Dallas, where we were met by our kids and Mr. Smarty's folks.  Both reunions were super sweet.  I will post more later, once my eyelids stop rolling in there sockets.

Thanks for all who prayed-everything went as smooth as possible-quite amazing!   And Baby Girl is a doll!  Love her!!!!!

I have been following your blog for some time now mainly for inspiration for creative projects for the home (love your ideas and how your crafting and decorating is always done on behalf of the precious people in your life) but woven in there is the story of your adoption journey which has been a joy to read - the waiting and the anticipation is over. She is just beautiful. I pray she will bring your family countless hours of delight and when she is older she will be able to read back through her mom's blog and know how much she was longed for. God is faithful, He chose you to raise her and brought her to you safely, your little girl has a blessed future!
