3 Creative People Had This To Say:
Great lists!
Our favorite read-alouds so far this year:
My Father's Dragon
James and the Giant Peach
My favorite books this year (though some are a few years old):
The Gurnsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
Mighty Be Our Powers
Yellow Crocus
Wild
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet
I've never known anyone else who has read the Read-Aloud Handbook...a great resource!
The suspense is killing me--what did you think of the Hunger Games?!
I loved On Writing Well and The Great Divorce. I owned Freckle Juice as a child and loved it. It holds a special place in my heart. Especially since I'm covered in freckles!
Looks like we've read a lot of the same stuff. Maybe we'd be friends IN REAL LIFE?! ;) (Can one really tell that by ONE blog post?! LOL)
I love book lists! Thanks for sharing! :)
Catie-we are friends in real life, silly girl! and yes, you can tell much from a post on books read.
we saw Hunger Games on our anniversary, actually :) i loved the books-the first 2 much more than the third though. the movie was good too but the way a book is.
carey-that's the second blog friend who's read Wild...must have to add it to my list for summer reading!
