Our 10 month anniversary of waiting has come and gone.
From what I can gather from our agency, they are holding off on making referrals until the baby's file is completely complete. Every form, letter, etc. must be ready before the child is matched with a family. This means a longer wait time for a referral but hopefully a shorter wait for a court date and a better chance of a successful court hearing.
This is good news, it just means we're still waiting.

It will happen Kristen! We waited 6.5 months until referral, and just got assigned our court date -- Nov. 9th!! If all goes well, we'll get the Dec. 30th embassy date and be home in less than a year since beginning. When it happens, it happens fast, and from what you posted, maybe even faster with your agency as far as a court date goes. We think about you and your precious family often!

I've been thinking about you and praying for you. The wait after referral really is so much harder so I think making sure everything is in order before hand is a great thing. Praying that your call comes soon and that everything goes smoothly and quickly after that! We need to get together sometime. It's been a long time!
