WIP: Finished Sawtooth Star Top

Monday, November 28, 2011

I love looking at the backs of quilt tops.  They are so messy and once quilted, will never be seen again.   But those busy, seam-packed backs make the seen part beautiful.

I am anxious to have the whole quilt finished, but I'm still enjoying what this quilt has already become.

What are you working on these days?

whoa Kristen! This is SO striking! I love the simplicity of the solids, it's perfect.

thanks, jessica. yeah, i love how a traditional quilt pattern can take on a modern feel with just the use of solids. i'm using a print on the back though...:)

I love the stage where they looks like stained glass windows with the light shining through them, and yours looks awesome in that pic.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, and if you can make those stars, a circle of geese is well within your abilities :o)
