December Thrifting

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

We visited the thrift store today sometime between language arts and science and found a few things.  I love this vintage Christmas tray ($2.43).  And I can think of a 459 things I can put in this milk glass cup ($2.42):

and this white sweater ($4.99) is why I stopped in.  I needed it for
a Handmade Holidays gift-that I'll share soon!

Have you found any thrifty deals for Handmade Holiday gifts? Leave me a link in the comments!

Not sure where you go thrifting, but that is awesome! Have you taken a look at http://grosgrainfabulous.blogspot.com/ to see how she repurposes items?

I'm really curious what you are going to do with that sweater!

There's this huge warehouse by my house called the Bargain Barn. It's where all the excess from goodwill goes. Every day it's new stuff. I go there for vintage plates. I pay $5 for a big paper bag and then I I fill it up to the brim with treasures.

Love the tray and milk glass. I will be using some of my thrift store dishes to give with goodies on them. Can't wait to see what becomes of the sweater. Jackie
